Etleva Zenuni is a cultural mediator, outreach worker and activist. She was born and raised in Tirana, where she earned a diploma from the Scientific Lyceum.
She migrated to Italy in mid-nineties with her husband Artur and their son Ruis, and they settled in Turin, where they had two more children, Federico and Luca. In Italy she attended several professional courses on cultural mediation, earning the related qualification. She become a member and then a board member of Cooperativa Sociale Nova Familia, serving as cultural mediator in numerous health services in the city of Turin, including hospitals S. Anna (Maternity and Gynecological Hospital), Regina Margherita (Child Hospital), Amedeo di Savoia (Infectious Diseases Hospital) and Maria Vittoria (General Hospital) and many Family Counseling Centers. Alongside her work with Nova Familia, she teached in courses for cultural mediators and she collaborated as professional cultural mediator with other nonprofit organizations. Among them Comitato per i Diritti Civili delle Prostitute (Tampep project), PIAM Onlus (Asti) and Gruppo Abele Onlus (Turin): in all of these cases she has been part of the team of outreach workers which contact commercial sex workers. She is now an employee ofArcoGroup, working in the”Rondine”shelter forunaccompanied foreign minorsin Turin.
Shewasone of the foundersof IDEADONNA Onlus and she was appointed President in April 2007, succeeding to former President Claudia Bianco.
